Humanity was made for relationship with God, yet sin separates us from him and brings death. We cannot restore that relationship by our own effort.
God came near
God did not abandon us. Jesus Christ entered human life, faced temptation, lived without sin, and willingly gave his life for us. On the cross he carried our sin and judgment. He died, was buried, and rose again, defeating death.
Grace is received, not earned
Salvation is God's gift. We respond by turning toward God, trusting Jesus, and confessing him as Lord. We do not become acceptable through perfect performance; we receive what Christ has accomplished by grace through faith.
A new life begins
In Christ, guilt no longer has the final word. God gives a new identity, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and a life that grows in love, truth, holiness, and hope.
